HOW TO OPERATE (CONT.):

b . To change the setpoint:

1 . Push the SET button for more than 2 seconds .  
2 . °F will begin blinking .  
3 . 

Use the ↑ or ↓ buttons to adjust the value.  

4 . Press the SET button or wait 10 seconds and 

the new value will be stored .

4.  The control stores the minimum and maximum 

temp values seen .

a . To view the MIN temperature: 

1 . 

Press the ↓ button.

2 . “Lo” will be displayed, followed by the 

minimum recorded temperature .

3 . 

Press the ↓ button again or wait 5 seconds to 

get back to the normal display .

b . To view the MAX temperature:

1 . 

Press the ↑ button.

2 . “Hi” will be displayed, followed by the 

maximum recorded temperature.

3 . 

Press the ↑ button again or wait 5 seconds to 

return to the normal display . 

c . To reset the MIN and MAX recorded 

temperatures:

1 . Go through one of the above procedures to 

display the MIN or MAX temperature .

2 . While the MIN or MAX temp is displayed, 

press and hold the SET button for more than 3 

seconds

3 . “rSt” will be blinking
4 . The control will go back to the normal display

5 . Under normal conditions, the controller is 

programmed to run a defrost cycle at optimal time 

intervals .

6 . If an additional defrost cycle is required, one can be 

forced .

a . Press the DEF key for more than 2 seconds .  

(This key looks like a melting snowflake.)

7. This unit is equipped with 2 different light fixtures 

for convenience and health . They are both 

triggered by a door opening event .

a . The LED light is set to illuminate the interior 

of the cabinet while the door is in the open 

position .

b . The UV light is set to sanitize the air at certain 

intervals while the door is closed .

c . Ensure the door gasket is aligned properly so 

that the door switch operates correctly .

d. If the door is open for an extended period of 

time, display will show door alarm “dA”

CAUTION: Ensure the door switch is operating 

properly. The sanitizing bulb is designed to work 

ONLY at certain times when door is CLOSED - if 

the door switch has failed, it may be on when the 

door is open.

WARNING Although the system is completely 

enclosed within the shroud in the evaporator 

assembly, it DOES still emit low energy ultraviolet 

waves. If the evaporator has been disassembled, 

take care NOT to look directly at the bulb or have 

your skin exposed for an extended period of time.

For greatest germicidal effect, it is recommended to 

change the UV bulb every 6 months. Only replace 

with genuine Cres Cor part.

8 . Locking out the control panel – to have the control 

locked out so that only the setpoint/min/max be 

viewable:

a. Press and hold the ↑ and ↓ buttons together for 

more than 3 seconds

b .“POF” will be displayed .
