Step 5 — Platform Sides:
fasten the Platform Support (AW) to the outside of the Porch
Corner Posts, in the position shown, using 5/16 x 4" Hex Bolt
Assemblies through the holes on each end.
fasten the left Platform Side (n) to the gym Corner Posts
opposite the Platform Support using 5/16 x 4" Hex Bolt As-
semblies through the top holes on each end. Position the
left Platform Side as shown.
Step 6 — Center Platform Support:
note the position the Center Platform Support
(AK) at right. With a 7/16" diameter drill, bore the
holes indicated in the appropriate Posts.
before installing the Center Platform Support,
insert a 5/16" Weld nut into the hole directly
below the hole just drilled in each Post.
use
a hammer to slightly inset each Weld nut. make
sure the threads of the Weld nut are clear and
function properly. The Weld nuts will be inacces-
sible when used in a future step.
fasten the Center Platform Support to the porch
side of the central Posts using two 3/8 x 6" Hex
Bolt Assemblies. make sure that the holes in the
Center Platform Support offset to the bottom of
the board. use a hammer to slightly inset each
Weld nut.
