PREPARING THE EQUIPMENT
The machine is supplied ready for use and factory tested with normal water to prevent dirtying the equipment with
other unwanted liquids. Just unscrew the sprayer casing from the tank and fill the latter, even partially, with the
required liquid diluted according to need. Screw the casing back on again without excessively forcing the handle.
Check that voltage and frequency values, indicated on the machine data plate and in the technical data sheet overleaf
correspond to those of the mains.
Connect the plug properly in the current socket. Start spraying by holding the machine by its handle and setting the
start lever to "ON" position. The metering valve governs the spray between minimum and maximum values without
completely shutting off the jet. The rotation direction is not important. A half turn is sufficient for adjustment. Check
the position of the pointer as with regards to the MIN and MAX writings.
INDOOR USE
The sprayer is used indoors for bacterial or fly-prevention treatments, but can also be used to eliminate other harmful
insects by simply changing the type of liquid. The mist created by the sprayer is so fine and widespread that it will
reach all corners of the environment even where not directly sprayed, without dripping down walls or wetting
wallpaper and fabric hangings. Never, however, spray too close to walls or other objects, as the spraying operation
will be perfect at a distance of over 2 meters. The working range is from 6 to 7 meters according to the type of liquid
used and can therefore meet all environmental requirements. The sprayer is also useful as a humidifier by just
spraying normal water and can even be used to distribute liquid deodorants.
OUTDOOR USE
It is important to consider the climatic conditions in which the sprayer is to be used, as well as the most suitable time
to accomplish determined treatments. It is undoubtedly inadvisable to spray on a windy day, as the liquid used will
be prevented from spraying in a free direction. The earth contact is not important, as the motor is equipped with dual
insulation: that is, all parts under voltage are joined together and protected by insulating material. Despite this
protection, the machine must not be used when it is raining. After use, lift the cable off the ground and disconnect
the plug from the current socket, in that grass-cutters or other machines could damage the cable insulation. The
sprayer can be used out-doors for numberless and varied purposes: these are indicated in the use instructions of
each individual article. In some cases, such as mosquito prevention treatments, the insecticide manufacturers will
request that the sprayer be used for that specific purpose.
