•
Do not instal the module in conditions of high wind or rain. We recommend the assembly to be
done only in dry and not windy weather.
•
When assemby is to be done on buildings, there is a danger from tools, assemblying materials
or photovoltaic modules of falling and harming people. This for, mark the danger zone on the
ground before the assembly prosses being started.
•
Warn the people in visinity of the assemblying or those in the building. Keep the children away
of the instalation place.
•
Carry out the wiring activities as the people do not being pun in danger and no damage occurs.
•
Protect all modules' parts agains mechanical impacts (eg. pressure, tension, torsional stress)
during the transportation and instalation. Make sure that in every moment the bending radius of
the connection cables is bigger than 60mm.
•
During the instalation of photovoltaic modules, the connectors and the tools necessarily must be
dry.
SAFETY REGULATIONS
Rules and safety instructions applicable to the electric appliances and systems instalation in the country
must be respected.
FIRE SAFETY
Comply with national regulations and instructions for fire safety.
5.1. MECHANICAL ASSEMBLYING
MODULES' POSITIONING
ATTENTION! The improper modules instalation can create fire risk!
•
The module can be instaled in horizontal or in vertical position.
•
During modules instalation, the junction box must be at their upper side, and the cables to
drop down
•
The modul must be installed in way that the rain water and melting snow to drain freely.
After the instalation, the draining holes must be opened, to be avoided the water retention
and puddles formation, so the risk of damages caused of freezing to be brought to minimum
•
Instal the module with minimal inclination of 3
O
.
•
On instaltions with inclination angle <20
O
, regularly check for accumulated polution (soil,
bird droppings and others). The rain will help for the removement of soil contaminated
areas, allthough it is recommended that the modules are regularly cleaned (see Chapter 7
“Cleaning and maintenance”).
•
The optimal inclination angle depends on the latitude. To guarantee the optimal orientation,
we recommend photovoltaic simulation tool to be used.
WIND OR SNOW LOADING
Framed modules are suitable to be used with maximal load of 5400Pa.
MOUNTING FRAME
Every photovolatic module should be instaled on an assembly structure, which:
•
to correspond to the necessary static, local winds and snow
•
to be properly and firmly attached to the ground, over the roof or on the facade
•
to carry the forces applied over the panel to the mountig frame
•
to guarantee that there won't be mecahnical pressure oscillated over the module (eg. caused by
vibrations, torsion or expansion).
•
to ensure adequate ventilation of the modules' back side
