Operators Manual

A FRESH APPROACH TO VENDING

Introduction

This manual provides you with guidance on the installation, daily operation and basic maintenance

of your freestanding vending machine and indicates when you should call a qualified service

engineer for assistance. Crane Merchandising Systems always recommend that a trained

technician service its equipment.
Crane Merchandising Systems are committed to continuous product improvement. This means

that the information within this document, although correct at time of publication, is for guidance

only and may be subject to change without prior notice.

Important Safeguards

Always follow these basic safety precautions when operating or maintaining your machine:

Ensure that you and anyone who will operate or maintain your machine have this

manual available for quick and easy reference, and read all instructions carefully before

commencing work.

Beware of Electricity Certain maintenance operations require your machine to remain

connected and switched on. Only trained personnel should carry out these routines,

and independently of all other operations. Observation of safe working practices in

accordance with current regulations is necessary at all times.
Important! Unless otherwise specified, always disconnect your machine from the

electricity supply before commencing work.

Do not operate your machine if any part is damaged e.g. mains lead, until a qualified

service technician has checked that it is safe. To avoid damaging the mains lead this

should never trail from the machine and should always be kept away from hot surfaces

and sharp edges.

Allow your machine to cool before handling or moving.

Never immerse your machine in water, or any other liquid and never clean it with a

water jet.

If your machine should accidentally freeze up, call a service technician to check it

before switching on.

Ensure that you are familiar with the most recent Health and Safety at Work and

Electricity at Work Regulations.

Your machine is for indoor use only and, because it is a beverage vendor, should be sited in a

clean and hygienic area.
