Position the hull on a cradle, or as an alternative, on the transport trolley with the help of a wooden or metal
flat point spatula; eliminate the main part of the vegetation and, by the half of a well -soaped sponge rub all
the hull carefully. During this operation is advisable to wet the surface abundantly for facilitate the
elimination of the algae.
To clean the external surfaces of the boat use a sponge and neutral soap solution with lukewarm water (or
shampoo). Rinse well with plenty of water. It is advisable to protect the finish with a wax layer to the good
quality boats, available in the market.
All the repairs due to scratches, chips and small cracks, must be executed with the boat in "dry" and in the
shade.
Clean the damaged area with acetone or, as an alternative with alcohol. Add the catalyst to the varnish gel
coat according to the percentage and formality prescribed by the supplying company. Apply the gelcoat with
a panel of bristle in stages, until you obtain the thickness you want and wait for at least six hours.
Correspond then with sandpaper soaked with water starting from the 200 grit up to 1000, and then polish the
surface with the abrasive paste and polish.
