7. Wiring.
WARNING
: Turn off circuit breakers to current
fixture from breaker panel and be sure switch
is turned to the OFF position.
CAUTION
:
Be sure outlet box is properly
grounded and that a ground wire (
GREEN
or
Bare) is present.
Make sure all electrical connections comply with
Local Codes or Ordinances and the National
Electrical Code. If you are unfamiliar with
electrical wiring or if the house/building wires
are different colors than those referred to in the
diagram to the right, please use a qualified
electrician.
Note
:
Excess lead wire length from the fan can
be cut to the desired length and then stripped.
Once fan has been temporarily hung on the
mounting plate, electrical wiring can be made
as follows:
Connect
BLACK
wire (labeled AC IN L) from
remote control receiver to
BLACK
supply wire
from ceiling with wire connector provided.
Connect
WHITE
wire (labeled AC IN N) from
remote control receiver to
WHITE
supply wire
from ceiling with wire connector provided.
Connect
GREEN/YELLOW
wire from remote
control receiver to
BARE/GREEN
wire from
ceiling with wire connector provided.
Connect
BLUE
wire (labeled FOR LIGHT) from
remote control receiver to
BLACK
wire from fan
with wire connector provided with wire
connector provided.
Connect
WHITE
wire (labeled FOR LIGHT) from
remote control receiver to
WHITE
wire from fan
with wire connector provided.
Connect
RED
wire from remote control receiver to
RED
wire from fan with wire connector
provided.
Connect
YELLOW
wire from remote control
receiver to
YELLOW
wire from fan with wire
connector provided.
Connect
GRAY
wire from remote control receiver
to
GRAY
wire from fan with wire connector
provided.
* Wrap each wire connector separately with
electrical tape as an extra safety measure.
Gently place receiver and taped wire
connectors into top of canopy assembly.
