9.0 The Nexus Thumb
Latched
In ‘latched mode’ the Nexus Thumb is set in an opposed or unopposed open position. A closed
signal will close the thumb without rotating it. An open/open signal will change the grip to the
next opposed grip in the table, which can be cycled through, again without thumb rotation. To
swap to unopposed the user can tap the rocker switch on the thumb, as shown below.

Dynamic
In ‘dynamic mode’ the Nexus Thumb is set in a single central position and the grip tables
can include both opposed and unopposed grips. A closed signal will close the thumb and
simultaneously rotate it. An open/open signal will change the grip to the next grip in the table,
whether opposed or unopposed, and these can be cycled through. In this mode, the rocker
switch on the thumb can be mapped to a number of functions, selectable in the App, such as
swapping between the customisable grip tables or turning Bluetooth on and off.
