9. CONVEYOR BELT TENSION
Conveyor belt must be taut at all times to insure proper function of conveyor rollers.

TENSION ADJUSTMENT
STEP 1.
Remove inner support guard from unit (remove 3 screws from top).
STEP 2.
Loosen hex post under inside idler sheave, adjust sheave forward as
shown in Fig. 3, then tighten.
STEP 3.
Run machine and check belt tension. If belt seats ok, replace inner
support guard. If belt does not seat properly (Fig. 4), repeat step (2).
