Maintaining the Base Adjustment 

 

The base adjustment should not require any attention other than: 
I.

 

Check the squareness of the legs when in the closed position. 

II.

 

Place a square on the inside of the legs and base to determine the 90° alignment. 

III.

 

Loosen the nut on the linkage rod, rotate the linkage rods until 90° alignment is 
achieved. Tighten the nut.

Replacing the Casters/Forks 

 

6.8.1

 

Replacing rear casters 

 

I.

 

Turn and place the lift on its side. 

II.

 

Remove the bolt and nut securing the existing rear caster to the fork. 

III.

 

Install the new/existing bearing into the new rear caster. 

IV.

 

Align the mounting holes in the new rear caster and the fork. 

V.

 

Insert the bolt through the fork and new rear caster and tighten with the nut. 

 

When dissembling the rear casters, the bearing will become loose and may fall out of 
the caster, it can be reused if not worn.
