Complete Installation
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
Failure to do so can result in death, fire, or electrical shock
Connect the Duct System
Ducted Installations
1.
Install the oil tray on the fan motor.
2.
Replace the metal filters. See the "Range Hood Care" section.
3.
Connect the duct system to the range hood duct opening. Seal the
connection with clamps.
4.
Reconnect power.
5.
Check the operation of the range hood fan and light.
Ductless (Recirculating) Installations
To order replacement kits, see "Optional Parts" in the "Tools and Parts" section.
1.
Connect the duct system to the range hood duct opening. Seal the
connection with clamps.
2.
Install charcoal filters. See the "Range Hood Care" section.
3.
Install the oil tray on the fan motor.
4.
Replace the metal filters. See the "Range Hood Care" section.
5.
Reconnect power.
6.
Check the operation of the range hood fan and light.
