Wedge 23- When your child weighs under 9 kg, the child car seat must be used
WITH the seat liners and wedge.
Forward facing modes (Group 1) (9 to 18kg, approx. 9 months
to 4 years old)

IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE FORWARD FACING BEFORE THE
CHILD’S WEIGHT EXCEEDS 9 KG.
ISOFIX option (fitted with ISOFIX low anchorage points and
support-leg):
25- Fitting:
Convert the seat unit to forward facing orientation (refer to step 13).
Recline the backrest to position 1,2,3 or 4 (refer to step 1).
Position the child car seat on the vehicle seat, forward facing (a).
Attach the ISOFIX arms to the anchor points (refer to step 14 - 16) (b).
Attach the ISOFIX top-tether strap clip to the anchor point (refer to
step 17 - 20) (c).
Engage the support-leg (Refer to step 18).
Removal is a reversal of this procedure.
Belted with support-leg:
Fitting:
26- Convert the seat unit to forward facing orientation (refer to step 13).
Recline the backrest to position 1,2,3 or 4 (refer to step 1).
Position the child car seat on the vehicle seat, forward facing.
Feed the vehicle belt between the harness and backrest (a), behind
the seat liners. Engage the buckle (b).
27- Tension the lap vehicle belt (a).
Fit the diagonal vehicle belt between the headrest and backrest (b).
If fitted correctly the vehicle belt should cover the belt guide
markings on the child seat cover (c & d).
IMPORTANT: The position of the vehicle belt buckle can affect the
stability of the child restraint system. In an accident this could stop
the child restraint system from protecting your child as well as it
should. After tightening the vehicle belt, if the buckle lies in the
position marked (X) then try fitting the child restraint system in
another seating position in your vehicle.
Engage the support-leg (Refer to step 18).
Removal is a reversal of this procedure.
