NOTE:
Calculate these dimensions carefully. Once the housing is installed, any adjustment needed
along the Z axis will require that the housing be removed.
Step 4:
Once the kit is secured in position, install the EDGE-01U or EDGE-04U housing, as
applicable, or any other device that has the ability to be installed into a 19-inch rack
space, by securing the mounting brackets on each side into the mounting holes on front
of the kit. If installing only one housing, place it in the top position.
Step 5:
To prevent the top housing from tilting in the rack, insert screws into the sides of the
housing as shown in Figure 4.

Waterfall Kit Installation
(Applies to 1U Housing ONLY) Open door and pull shelf out to access the underside of the shelf.
Attach waterfalls to each side of the shelf (Figure 5) with screws on the underside.
NOTE:
If additional 1U housings are to be installed, contact Corning Cable Systems Customer
Services to purchase additional waterfalls.
