3. While squeezing the lockout switch,
squeeze the trigger switch (3).
4. While squeezing the trigger switch,
push the HI/START switch (1)
forward momentarily with your
thumb. At this point, the hedge
trimmer will start reciprocating the
cutting blades.
NOTE:
Once the hedge trimmer has
started, release the HI/START button
and the hedge trimmer will continue to
run.
5. To stop the hedge trimmer, release
the trigger switch.
NOTE:
To restart the hedge trimmer,
follow steps 1 through 4 above.
WARNING:
When the trigger
switch is released, the hedge trimmer
will "coast" for approximately 1 second
before it comes to a complete stop.
