9.2 Defrosting During Hot Water Operation
1) If the unit frosts during water heating, it will automatically defrost for 2-3 min to improve heating
efficiency.
2) During defrosting, fan motor stops running.
9.3 Re-startup after Long-time Stop
If water heater restarts after long-time stop (including the first startup), there may be turbid liquid flowing
from tap at the beginning. This is normal. Please drain the water for a period of time till clean water flows out.
9.4 About Power Failure
1) If the unit stops during operation, all operations will stop.
2) Wired controller has the function of power-off memory.
3) If the unit misacts for lightning, radio of car and so on, turn off the unit then cut off power supply.
After re-energizing the unit, press ON/OFF button.
9.5 Power-off Memory Function
Before power failure of water heater or wired controller, wired controller automatically memorizes on-off
state of unit. After power recovery, wired controller sends on-off signal to water heater according to memory
state before power failure. This ensures that the unit can run according to original setting states after abnormal
power failure.
9.6 Leakage Switch
1) Leakage switch is attached with the main unit. Make sure the switch is at on state before startup of the
unit.
2) After operation of the switch for about 1 month, please press TEST button of the leakage switch under
power-on state to check its performance (press the switch once, it breaks once).If malfunction is confirmed,
replace or repair it timely.
10 Cautions for Operation in Winter
Cautions for Operation in Winter:
At low temp in winter or if the unit is not in use for a long time, the unit should be energized to preheat it
for 8hr at least.
At low outdoor temp in winter, power supply can not be cut off after stop of unit to ensure auto anti-
freezing protection for unit.
If the unit is not in use for a long time, drain the water in unit, water tank and pipeline through drainage
valve after power off the unit. The procedure of drainage is as follow:
1) Close cut-off valve at water inlet of water tank. Open cut-off valve at water outlet of water tank and tap
or shower at hot water using side. Open cut-off valve at drainage outlet of water tank to drain the water.
2) If manual discharge valve A next to the main unit is easy to be operated, open the manual discharge
valve A next to water inlet of main unit till there is not any water flowing from drainage outlet and manual
discharge valve A, and then close all valves and manual discharge valve A.
If manual valve B next to the water tank is easy to be operated, open the manual discharge valve B next
to circulating water inlet of water tank till there is not any water flowing from drainage outlet and manual
discharge valve B, and then close all valves and manual discharge valve B.
If both manual valves A and B are easy to be operated, open the manual discharge valve A next to water
inlet of main unit and the manual discharge valve B next to circulating water inlet of water tank till there is not
