Cool Boss Evaporative Air Cooler

To test the GFCI

:

Plug the cord into a properly grounded wall outlet. The indicator should be illuminated. Refer to the

figure below.

a.

If the indicator is not illuminated, check the wall outlet for power.

b.

If power is present at the outlet, the Power Cord or the GFCI requires replacement.

Press the Test button. The Indicator should go out and no power should be available at the Cool
Boss.

Press the Reset Button and the Indicator should be illuminated again. The Cool Boss should now

be provided power and is ready for use.

If the GFCI does not function, take the unit out of service, contact your dealer or BendPak Support

The GFCI does not protect against electrical shock due to contact with both circuit
conductors or a fault in the wiring supplying the GFCI.

To store the Cool Boss

:

1. Drain the Reservoir and wipe clean and dry.
2. Secure the electrical cord.
3. Cover the Cooler to prevent dust build-up and store in a dry, protected area.
