Safety Device
To avoid overheating problems the in-
built safety device will interrupt
electricity if the heating element
becomes too hot. The heater will then
return to stand-by mode.
If this should happen:
• Check that the heater is positioned
correctly, not close to any furnishings.
• See that there is no dust or other
obstacles blocking the vent slots.
• Clean the vent slots if necessary.
The heater is also equipped with a ‘tip-
over’ switch, which will turn off power to
the heater elements if it should fall over.

Electrical Safety
Connect the heater to a single 230 V,
10A socket only. Do not plug into
double adaptors or multi-outlet power
boards.
Make sure that the heater never comes
into contact with water.
Never position the heater under a power
outlet.
Never turn the heater on if the lead is
damaged or if the heater's casing is
obviously damaged. If the power supply
cord is damaged it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, a service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to
avoid a hazard.
Do not pull the heater along by the
power cord or place the cord near the
heaters surfaces. Always uncoil the
power cord completely before use. Use
of extension cords is not recommended.
Do not use this heater in the immediate
surroundings of a bath, a shower or a
swimming pool. If the heater is to be
used in a bathroom, ensure that
switches and other controls cannot be
touched by a person in the bath or
shower.
Do not use the heater with a separate
timer to turn the heater on. Always turn
the heater off and unplug from the
power socket when not in use.
