5.2.1
Checking the vertical movement of the sieve plate
The size of the vertical movement of the sieve plate will affect the correct sieving action.
Therefore this movement should be checked periodically and corrected if necessary as
described below with the use of a dial gauge.
1.
Place a dial gauge as shown below so that it is held on the frame (fixed part) and its
stem rests on the cross beam (moving part);
