Modbus Address Page
Display of Modbus controller address NR9001.
The permanence in a page without any action for more than 10
seconds returns to the stationing page.
Buttons
“ON/OFF” button: allows the regulation to be switched off, switching
from the Comfort mode (NM) to the off mode (FA). When the con-
troller is off, the word “OFF” is displayed instead of the room tempe-
rature display.
“Mode
” button: if enabled by configuration, it allows switching to
reduced speed (RF), displaying the word “ECO” instead of displaying
the time.
“FAN
” button: if enabled by the configuration, it allows you to ma
-
nually select one of the 3 + OFF speeds. If “Auto” operation is set, the
fan speed is automatically determined by the controller. In the latter
case all speed s the word “Auto” will be lit.
“Clock
” button: if enabled by the configuration, it allows to activate
the time program (locally configured to the sensor). The time pro
-
gramming will determine a set temperature defined for each sche
-
duled time slot. If a time slot is OFF, the controller will be off.
The activation of the time program prohibits the possibility of setting
the knob set.
Furthermore, a long press on the key allows entering the configura
-
tion to set the time and the time programs.
“Knob
” button: depending on the configuration, the key can be ro
-
tated to set the temperature set (between the minimum value and
the maximum value set by the configurator) or make a correction
(+ - the value set by the configurator) of the Set in EEPROM memory
area (always from the configurator). The resolution is 0.1.
Furthermore, by pressing the “Knob” it is possible to display, cyclical-
ly, the alarm error code, the Modbus address of the controller and
the main page.
“ON / OFF” + “FAN” buttons: a long press of the two buttons allows
entering the configuration to be able to set the Modbus communi
-
cation parameters (Baud and Address) and the calibration of the
temperature sensor (Pcal).
In the lower part the following “symbols” may appear:
•
Bell - indicates the presence of an alarm in the controller.
•
Snowflake - indicates that the controller is adjusting to give Cold
(control Loop F output> 0)
•
Flame
- indicates that the controller is adjusting to give Heat
(control Loop C output> 0)
STA70M SENSOR
STA70M sensor is a room terminal that allows the user to control the
temperature in a residential environment. It communicates with the
Modbus protocol and can be connected to the NR9001 controller.
The power supply can be 24 Vac/dc.
Setting Communication Parameters
STA70M sensor requires a preconfiguration for the
Modbus communication and the parameters to be
managed in order to be connected on the 485 bus
of the NR9001 controller.
Enter the configuration by selecting the icon
and the settings page will be displayed.
Select the ModBus icon
: the Modbus page will
be displayed.
To change the data enter the password = 1909.
Enter the following data:
• Address
Modbus = 1.
• Baud rate
= 9600.
• Parity
= NO.
• Stop bit
= 1.
• Timeout
= 10. Time out for connection status
• Reboot
= No. Forced sensor reboot.
The STA70M sensor offers different display modes
and different functions that can be enabled or di-
sabled directly by the sensor by accessing the “Pa-
ram” page.
2-4 pipe system configuration
The selection of 2-4 pipes involves the display on the sensor of 2 or 4
sets (Set C, Set C Eco, Set F, Set F Eco).
Operate as follows to configure the sensor:
1. Switch off the controller;
2. On the sensor go into settings and set the address of the con-
troller = 0;
3.
Set, by dipswtch or supervisor, if the controller must function as
2 or 4 pipes;
4.
Power back the controller;
5. STA.M sensor is reinitialized.
Display Configuration
Through the configurator it is possible to choose between 4 different
