The Application number identifies the application as in the following examples:

SC01 - steam flow computer for frequency flow meter

•

GN02 - natural gas flow computer for analog flow meter

The Input Assignment type indicates the physical input that is assigned to each input on the
instrument. The code is made up from six characters as follows:

The codes are as follows:

•

- not used in this application

•

- indicates a generic analog input such as for density or level etc.

•

- indicates a user code input

•

- indicates a density input

•

- indicates a generic flow input such as for volume or mass etc.

•

- indicates a high flow input for stacked inputs

•

- indicates a low flow input for stacked inputs

•

- indicates a pressure input

•

- indicates a quadrature input

•

- indicates a temperature input.

For example,

is an instrument with FINP1 (frequency input 1) assigned to a flow

input, AINP1 assigned to a temperature input and AINP2 assigned as a pressure input. The other
inputs are not used.
