• A damaged appliance or its damaged parts may cause serious injuries and fire.
• In case of any malfunction of your device, do not attempt to repair it by yourself.
• There is no part inside the appliance that can be repaired by the user.
• Use of the accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury.
• Place the power cord in a way not to cause any hazard. Do not pull or squeeze the cord on sharp edges.
Keep the cord away from hot and wet areas. The cord should not contact with the hot parts of the
appliance.
• Do not place the tea maker close to hot surfaces or fire in order to avoid damage to the appliance.
• While unplugging the appliance, hold from the plug and never pull from/hold by its cord.
• Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
• Before plugging and using the appliance, dry it and all its accessories.
• Place the appliance in a way to make it possible to reach the plug all the time.
• This appliance must not be operated by an external timer or remote control system.
• The appliance requires continous user supervision and control during operation.
• Do not use any extension cord with this appliance.
• Avoid touching the hot parts of the product.
• Wait for the appliance to cool down before you keep it.
• Before taking the kettle off the power base, break the circuit of the kettle.
• Before pouring water, take your appliance of the base unit.
SECURITY INFORMATION TO BE CONSIDERED DURING
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Clean the appliance regularly as explained in the “Cleaning and Maintenance” section. Before starting
the appliance cleaning, maintenance and assembling, always unplug your appliance and wait for its to
cool down.
• Do not put the cord, plug or base unit into water or other liquid in order to avoid the risk of fire, electric
shock and personal injury.
• Do not clean your appliance with water in order to avoid electric shock, use a soft cloth cloth to clean
your appliance.
• Do not use abrasive cleaner when cleaning the appliance.
• You can wipe the body of your appliance with a damp cloth and then polish it with a dry cloth.
WARNING:
Make sure that the cloth with which you wipe the surface of your appliance is dried
thoroughly. Ingress of water into the electrical parts of your appliance will cause serious damages to your
appliance.
• Do not use sharp, piercer, steeple head, etc detrimental instruments during the cleaning.
