ADDITIONAL SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ANGLE
GRINDERS
Do not cut or grind light
metal with a magnesium
content exceeding 80%;
since this type of metal is
flammable.
Use suitable detectors to determine if utility
lines are hidden in the work area or call
the local utility company for assistance.
Contact with electric lines can lead to fire and
electric shock. Damaging a gas line can lead to
explosion. Penetrating a water line causes property
damage or may cause an electric shock.
Release the On/Off switch and set it to the
off position when the power supply is
interrupted, e. g., in case of a power failure or
when the mains plug is pulled. This prevents
uncontrolled restarting.
When working stone, use dust extraction.
The vacuum cleaner must be approved for
the extraction of stone dust. Using this
equipment reduces dust-related hazards.
Use a cutting guide when cutting stone.
Without sideward guidance, the cutting disc
can jam and cause kickback.
Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped
with clamping devices or in a vice is held
more secure than by hand.
Keep your workplace clean. Blends of materials
are particularly dangerous. Dust from
light alloys can burn or explode.
Never use the machine with a damaged cable.
Do not touch the damaged cable and
pull the mains plug when the cable is damaged
while working. Damaged cables increase
the risk of an electric shock.
When working with the
machine, always
hold it firmly with both hands
and provide for a secure
stance. The power tool is
guided more secure with both
hands
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Always check that the power
supply corresponds to the
voltage on the rating plate.
DESCRIPTION
This machine is developed for grinding and
roughing of metal and stone. With help of the
correct accessories the machine can also be used
for brushing and sanding.
It is not designed for commercial use.

2 Lock knob
3 Spindle
4 Guard
5 Side handle
6 Carbon brush holder
7 Speed controle

Mounting and removing the guard
The safety guard of your angle grinder is equipped
with a quick clamp system, allowing you to mount,
move or remove the guard without tools.
Make sure the quick clamp is in its open position.
Position the guard on the guard basis. Please
notice the notch on the inside of the guard ring
coincides with the foreseen cut out in the guard
basis.
Turn the guard in the desired position and
tighten it by locking the clamp. (if the clamp is not
tight enough, open it again, tighten the nut using a
spanner, then lock the clamp again)
Never use the machine
without guard.
Never operate the angle
grinder without the safety
guard properly mounted and
locked.
Repositioning (turn) / removing the guard
To reposition/turn the guard, release the quick
clamp, turn the guard, and retighten the clamp.
To remove the guard: if installed, first remove the
mounted disc, then work in the opposite as
described above under mounting/installing the
guard.
Mounting and removing a grinding wheel
Remove the plug from the
mains
Only Use discs of the correct dimension and of good
quality. (Use fiber-reinforced cutting/grinding discs
(for stone-metal) or diamond disc (for stone only).
The grinding disc may not touch the edge of the
guard.
Press the spindle lock and turn the spindle until it
engages in the lock. Keep the spindle lock pressed
during this procedure.
Loosen and remove the flange nut from the
spindle using the spanner.
