1. Getting to know your CRXLC wireless controller
Please read this guide carefully and retain for future use and maintenance.
2. Basic operation
The CRXLC controller can be only use with conjunction with MRXLC master controller.
It can be used to control any CONSORT RX heaters.
Before you can use CRXLC, it has to be activated by tapping any control icons. The LCD screen backlight will turn on. To operate
any control icon, tap within 2 seconds of CRX2 activation. Use UP or DOWN button to adjust set temperature.
This must be done, otherwise it will not work.
To enter pairing screen on the CRXLC, tap and hold UP and DOWN icons for 10 seconds until screen shows two sets of numbers.
Pairing with MRXLC:
On the CRXLC, after entering the pairing screen, tap and hold the UP icon. The number on the top will start flashing indicating
that the CRXLC is ready to be paired with MRXLC. On the MRXLC, tap and hold P and FAN icons until screen shows the ID num-
ber. Now tap P icon on the MRXLC to make connection. Once CRXLC is paired with MRXLC, the CRXLC screens should show ID
number from the MRXLC screen and should not be flashing. To exit paring mode Press M on the MRXLC, press UP on the CRXLC.
If the pairing was successful the time on the CRXLC should be the same as the MRXLC.
Pairing with heater:
Turn power to the heater ON and count 4 seconds or observe 5 LED flashes. After 4 seconds turn heater OFF. Wait for 2 seconds.
After turning the heater back ON, the LED on the heater should be flashing indicating that the heater is ready for pairing with
CRXLC. If the LED isn’t flashing, repeat the above.
On the CRXLC, after entering the pairing screen, hold down the DOWN icon for approximately 5 seconds. Once you stop hold-
ing the icon the LED stops flashing indicating successful pairing.
Setting CRXLC as signal repeaters:
In situations where CRXLC is far away from the MRXLC it is possible to extend range by setting some of the CRXLCs that are in
range with MRXLC as signal repeaters. The CRXLC set as a repeater will repeat signal for other CRXLCs that are out of range. Do
not set more CRXLCs as repeaters as necessary for the system to work reliably.
On the CRXLC, after entering pairing screen, tap DOWN icon. The last number on the display is either 0 or 1. If the number is 1 it
means that the CRXLC is set as repeater. The CRXLC can be set as a repeater only when mains powered.

3. Choosing a position in a room
The CRXLC should be fixed to the wall. Avoid areas with draft or direct sun. Do not position CRXLC above or close to the
heaters or other heat sources. Damp areas or areas where CRXLC can be mechanically damaged should also be avoided.
