Circuit Super Bass
L´amplificateur XA 1000 possède en plus une fonction Bass Boost pour les canaux
arrière, les fréquences passe-bas sont amplifiées à deux niveaux.
Ceci sert en particulier à conférer aux haut-parleurs des graves plus petites ou aux
subwoofers un peu plus de « volume » dans les passe-bas.
Le commutateur SUPER BASS
(6) commande l’amplification dans les
passe-bas :
Première mise en service
Après avoir procédé à la connexion et vérifié de nouveau le câblage, vous pouvez
mettre en service l´amplificateur pour la première fois.
Après avoir vérifié le câblage, connectez
de nouveau le pôle négatif de la batterie.
Tournez le/les bouton/s de réglage GAIN
(3) dans le sens inverse des aiguilles
d’une montre en position minimum.
Faites glisser le/les commutateur/s de
diplex (4) dans la bonne position corres-
pondant à votre configuration.
Réglez les fréquences de séparation
avec les boutons de réglage HPF (1) et
LPF (2) pour les haut-parleurs branchés.
Mettez votre autoradio en marche
Position « 0 » :
Amplification du filtre passe-bas
désactivée
Position « 6 » :
Le passe-bas est amplifié de 6 dB.
Position « 12 » :
Le passe-bas est amplifié de 12 dB.

Les fréquences de séparation peuvent
être réglées en continu dans une plage
comprise entre 50 et 250Hz ou 120 et
3.000Hz.
Lors du réglage, observer les indicati-
ons de fréquence du fabricant de haut-
parleurs.
L’affichage DEL POWER (5) s’allume.
Si l´affichage PROTECTION DEL (5)
devait s´allumer, il y a un défaut.
L´amplificateur doit immédiatement
être éteint. Dans ce cas, contrôlez

Connect the „B+“ connector of the con-
nection terminal of the power supply
directly to the positive terminal of the car
battery.
Connect the „REMOTE“ connector of
the connection terminal of the power
supply to the remote control connection
of the aerial control output of the car
radio.
Connect the „GND“ connector of the
connection terminal for the power supply
to the negative terminal (ground) of the
battery or to the car body.

Distribute the power supply in a star-shaped way, i.e. the connections of the
negative leads start from one and the same point for all components of the
car hi-fi system. This way of distributing the power supply avoids mass
loops.
Connect the positive leads in the same way.
Connecting the Inputs
Model XA 1000
The amplifier is provided with cinch inputs to be connected to the car radio.
Car radios with cinch outputs can be directly connected to the input sockets. If your
car radio is only provided with loudspeaker outputs, a suitable audio frequency
adapter is to be used for the connection.
Model XA 600
The amplifier has both loudspeaker and cinch inputs to be connected to the car
radio.
If your car radio has cinch outputs, the amplifier should be connected via the cinch
inputs in any case to ensure a high playback quality.
But if your radio car is not provided with cinch outputs, you can connect the amplifier to
the loudspeaker outputs without requiring any additional devices or adapters.
Never use the two input types (loudspeaker and cinch inputs) simultaneously.
The amplifier will be switched on via this
input, if a voltage of +12V is applied.
Nowadays, almost all car radios are
provided with such a control output
which only c12V if the radio is
turned on.
Attention! Since the electrical conduc-
tivity is continuously limited due to the
increasingly used gluing technology or
the lacquered metal parts, not each
metal component is suited to function
as a mass point.
