12. Bluetooth Connection (Android)
a) Pairing
The charger has a wireless Bluetooth interface. To connect to an Android-compatible phone or
tablet, proceed as follows:
• If it has not happened, connect the charger to the enclosed plug-in mains adapter; plug the
plug-in mains adapter into a mains socket.
• Keep the button „ENTER“ pushed for about 5 seconds until the Bluetooth-LED (9) starts flashing
slowly.
• Switch on the Bluetooth function in your Android-compatible phone or tablet.
• After a few seconds, the charger should be available as a new Bluetooth device
(„skyrcXXXX“, the four „X“ mean a four-digit serial number). Select this new device so that it
is connected to the phone/tablet.
This process may take a few seconds.
• After the Bluetooth connection was established, the Bluetooth LED (9) stops flashing and
remains lit.
b) Pairing with Several Devices
There can only be one Bluetooth connection at a time. It is not possible to access the charger
e.g. with two or more phones or tablets.
Alternating access is possible, e.g. when you want to read the charge data with an Android
Smartphone one day and with another one another day.
The charger can sae the connection data of up to 8 devices so that pairing with each device is
only necessary once. Therefore, proceed as described in chapter 12. a).
When all 8 memories are full, no further device can be registered. Then the internal
pairing memory must be deleted.
Keep both buttons „
2
“ and „
8
“ pushed at once for at least 5 seconds. This deletes
all the present devices from the pairing memory.
Then proceed again as described in chapter 12. a).
