8. Montage mural du «FHT8R»
a) Sélection d'un lieu de montage approprié
Choisissez un emplacement approprié pour le montage de l´unité de chauffa-
ge «FHT8R». Cet emplacement doit remplir les conditions suivantes :
• être situé centralement dans la pièce dans laquelle la température doit être
régulée
• être accessibile pour une commande confortable
• être à hauteur des yeux afin de permettre une bonne lecture de l'afficheur
• pas de mur donnant vers l'extérieur mal isolé
• pas de rayonnement direct du soleil
• Pas d'influences parasites provenant de sources de chaleur telles que
radiateurs, télévision, lampes, réfrigérateur etc.
• Eviter le montage à proximité immédiate d'une fenêtre
• Montage le plus loin possible d'objets métalliques afin de ne pas limiter
inutilement la portée
b) Montage du support mural
Pour le montage, procédez comme suit :
• Enlevez le support mural du dos du régulateur de
chauffage; pour cela, faites le coulisser vers le bas.
• Placez le support mural avec la face arrondie
vers le haut à la verticale du mur, voir fig. 2.
• Marquez la position des trous de perçage à tra-
vers les trous longitudinaux.
• En fonction du mur, faites des orifices de 6 mm
et y insérer des chevilles.

1. Remove the battery compartment cover of the (first) valve operating
mechanism by sliding it down.
2. Press the key of the valve operating mechanism for about 3 seconds
until you hear 3 signal tones. The valve operating mechanism is now rea-
dy to receive, "AC" is displayed.
3. Press the "PROG" key on the heating control to start transmission of the
heating control's safety code to the valve operating mechanism.
4. The valve operating mechanism acknowledges correct reception of the
code with a sequence of tones.
5. Replace the cover of the battery compartment.
6. The valve operating mechanism acknowledges the first reception of a
normal radio signal with an acoustic signal.
• Repeat these 6 steps for all other valve operating mechanisms in the room
("002", "003", etc. on the display) according to the number of valve opera-
ting mechanisms set before.
After encoding of all valve operating mechanisms is finished the heating
control automatically returns to the normal operating mode.

You may skip valve operating mechanisms which are already syn-
chronised/programmed to the safety code of the heating control.
For this purpose, just briefly press the "PROG" key on the heating
control (do not open the corresponding valve operating mecha-
nism/do not press the key on the valve operating mechanism!)
