Connection elements and controls

(1) Infrared reception indicator eye
To operate the receiver, always keep the remote control unit towards the recep-
tion indicator eye. The distance of action of the remote control unit is abt. 7 m,
as a maximum.
(2) Display
Signals the number of the program site and the settings made.
(3) ON/Standby switch
Turns the receiver on or switches it to the standby mode. The receiver will con-
sume some power even when in the standby mode. Pull the mains plug out to
de-energize the receiver.
(4) Upward program selection
Key to select the next higher program site.
(5) Downward program selection
Key to select the next lower program site.
(6) SAT ZF input (F jack)
F jack to connect the bowl cable of the satellite reception unit.
(7) Audio output (Cinch)
Cinch jacks for connection to a stereo set.
(8) Decoder connection jack (Scart)
Scart jack for connection to an external decoder, e.g. a Premiere decoder, or for
connection to a video recorder.
(9) TV connection (Scart)
Scart jack to connect the TV set.
(10) Mains cable
Cable for connection to a 230V / 50 Hz mains socket.
(11) MEM key
Key to store the settings made.
(12) D/ON key (DiSEqC)
Key to turn on/off the DiSEqC function.
