Start-up of the electric ice scraper
The extendable heating rod of the electric lock de-icer gets very hot during
operation. Never touch the heating rod during and after operation. There is
danger of burning.
Do not place the electric lock de-icer during and after operation on surfaces and
objects, as these could be damaged by the hot heating rod.
After operation, the extendable heating rod of the lock de-icer needs a sufficient
time (approx. 15 minutes) to cool.
• In order to activate the lock de-icer, push the heating rod out using the slide switch.
• The heating rod needs 5 to 10 seconds to heat up.
• Push the heating rod for about 20 to 30 seconds in the door lock you want to defrost.
• Pull the heating rod from the door lock and deactivate the lock de-icer by inserting the heating
rod in the cover via the slide switch.
• Repeat the procedure if your doors lock is still frosted.

Do not activate the door lock de-icer any longer than maximally 45 seconds at a
time.
LED light function
The electric lock de-icer also has a flashlight function. Press and hold the switch on the housing
to activate the LED light. Release the switch again to disable the LED light.
Maintenance and cleaning
Make sure that the electric ice scraper is de-energised during cleaning. Make
sure that the electric lock de-icer is not activated during cleaning.
This product is maintenance-free.
To clean the outer casing of the components, only use a clean, dry and soft cloth.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents.
Disposal
Electric and electronic products should not be disposed of with your household
waste!
When disposing of an unserviceable product, do so in keeping with the relevant
statutory regulations.
