8. Basic Settings
You can change different settings of the surveillance camera. Please note that the test LED behind the PIR sensor
blinks after each change. In addition, the PIR sensor first becomes active again after approx. 60 seconds to give you
enough time to leave the detection area (which prevents unnecessary recordings).

a) Setting the Time and Date
The time and date are required when saving images and videos. This way, you can tell later on when an image or
a video was produced (the time and date is inserted in the image).
If you want to use an SD memory card, insert it now. Now, switch on the mains voltage.
Attention! The lamp is activated shortly after. Do not look into the lamp. Danger of eye damage!
• Press the buttons "SET" and "MODE" simultaneously and briefly to activate the test mode (the display shows
"TEST" in the top line).
• Press the button "MODE" as long until "T" and the left part of the time "00 - 00" blinks on the display.
• Set the hours by repeatedly pressing the button "SET".
• Confirm the setting by briefly pressing the "MODE” button.
• Now you can set the minutes by repeatedly pressing the button "SET".
• Confirm the selection by pressing the "MODE" button.
• The display now shows the date (in the factory setting e.g. 04:01:06, MM:DD:YY, month, day, year).
• By repeatedly pressing the "SET" button, you can set the month ; confirm with "MODE".
• Continue setting the date and year the same way.
The recorded data is saved with time and date.
Please note that you have the repeat the settings in case of a power failure or when separating the
device from the mains voltage (when removing/inserting the memory card).
• After setting the year, you directly access the setting of the net frequency (see b).
To quit the test mode now, once again press the buttons "SET" and "MODE"
