10. Recording Mode
10.1 Start Recording
There are three modes available.
a) Manual Recording
Manual recording is always possible. To start recording, press the “Rec” button (10).

b) Recording when Motion is Detected
Recording is triggered when motion is detected. Please also see Chapter “12.2 Set-
ting the Motion Detection.”
c) Continuous Recording
For more information on permanent/continuous recording, see chapter “12.4 b)
Settings for Timed Continuous Recording (CONTINUE RECORD)”.
10.2 Stop Recording:
Press the “Stop/Exit” button (2) to stop manual recording. Press the “Play/Pause”
(4) or “Menu” (6) buttons to stop timed recording (recording after motion detection or
continuous recording).
