might even impair the function.
11. Disposal
a) General
Electric and electronic products do not belong to the household waste.
Please dispose of the unserviceable device according to the relevant statutory regulations.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable
batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with the symbols shown to the left. These
symbols also indicate that disposal of these batteries in the household waste is prohibited. The
heavy metals concerned are
Cd
= cadmium,
Hg
= mercury,
Pb
= lead.
