2. Intended use
The range of use of this surveillance camera covers video surveillance. It has been designed to observe and
secure obstructed or critical areas (surveillance of shops or entrance areas).
The surveillance camera is designed for connection to the video input of a monitor or a video recorder.
The well-arranged on-screen display offers maximum user friendliness. The camera has a 22x optical zoom
and a 1/4 inch Sony HAD CCD image sensor.
The surveillance camera is only suitable for dry indoor use.
The camera may only be used with a voltage of 12 V/DC (maximum power consumption: 230 mA). Please
note that you incur a penalty if you observe strangers with this camera without their knowing and consent.
Any use other than the intended use described above is not permitted and may harm the product and result
in short circuits, fire, electric shocks etc. No part of the product must be modified or rebuilt. The safety infor-
mation in these operating instructions has to be observed at all times. Please read the operating instructions
carefully and keep them for future reference.
