e) Using the spacers
When using spacers for the magnet, use screws for reasons of
stability.
There are three different spacers to choose from for adjusting the
installation height.
• When using the 14.5 mm spacer (A), attach it first with two 2.2 x 16 mm screws and then attach
the magnet unit (B) to it with two more screws.
• When the installation height must be even higher, stack the flat spacers on the high one.
• The flat spacers are simply attached by two 2.2 x 16 mm screws (C) together with the magnet.
• Afterwards, shut the cover (D) over the magnet holder (B).
f) Installing external magnetic contacts
• Install external contacts to the window to be monitored accord-
ing to their instructions.
• The magnet contact connection cable must be pulled into the
“FHT80TF-2” casing from behind through the cable opening
(C).
• On the back of the casing, there is a cable duct (B), through
which the cable can be guided to the left, right or to the bottom
of the device.
• The cables are to be connected with the screw clamp (A). Use
a small cable tie for strain relief if necessary. Attach it tightly
to the cable jacket on the inside, directly before the opening in
the casing.
If several external sensors are to be connected to the
“FHT80TF-2”, they must be connected sequentially.
