15. Viewing files on your TV

a)  General

•  Connect.the.provided.audio/video.RCA.cable.(24).to.your.TV.and.to.the.AV OUT.socket.(16).on.

the.bottom.of.the.camera..Read.your.TV's.user.manual.for.instructions.on.connecting.external.

devices.

•  Switch the TEST OFF CAM PSET switch to CAM.position.and.turn.on.your.TV..Make.sure.that.the.

video.signal.(e.g..VIDEO.IN.or.AUX).is.activated.on.your.TV..Follow.the.instructions.in.your.TV's.

user manual.

•  The.camera.is.preset.to.the.color-encoding.system.NTSC..If.the.image.is.displayed.correctly,.you.

do.not.need.to.change.any.settings..If.the.screen.does.not.display.the.image.correctly,.you.need.to.

change.the.camera's.TV.setting..See."b).Changing.TV.settings".

•  In.the.upper.right.corner.of.the.screen,.an.SD.card.symbol.and.the.number.of.recorded.images/

videos is visible. Each time you push the   /  .keys,.the.file.number.on.the.screen.changes..The.

entire number of images saved to the SD card does not change. 

•  Use.the.  /  .keys.to.navigate.to.the.desired.image.or.video..When.you.navigate.to.a.video.file,.

the camera symbol is visible in the lower left corner of the screen. Push the OK.key.(22)..

•  The.screen.shows.all.images.and.videos.as.a.preview.of.small.single.images..Videos.are.marked.

with."V"..Use.the.  /   keys to navigate to the video you wish to playback and push the OK key. 

Playback starts. 

•  To.temporarily.pause.playback,.push.the.OK key and push the OK key again to continue playback. 

Stop playback by pushing the M.key..The.screen.shows.a.still.frame.from.the.video.and.the.file.

number. You can now navigate to the next video or image. 

•  Switch the TEST OFF CAM PSET switch to OFF position to turn off the camera.

b)  Changing TV settings

•  The.camera.must.be.connected.via.the.audio/video.RCA.cable..Switch.the.TEST OFF CAM PSET 

switch to CAM position.

•  Push the M.key.once..“tu”.flashes.on.the.LC.display.
•  Push the OK.key..“tu-n”.flashes.on.the.LC.display..“n”.stands.for.the.colour-encoding.system.
