e) General notes
• A reset button is located behind the small opening next to the Micro USB port. Push this button to restore
the “Apotop Copy Adapter” to default settings. Push and hold the button for approx. 3 seconds (use a
paper clip or the like) to delete all user settings and restore the “Apotop Copy Adapter” to factory default
settings. After being restored to the factory default settings, the “Apotop Copy Adapter” reboots. The
“Apotop Copy Adapter” is ready for operation after approx. 1 minute.
• Turn off the “Apotop Coy Adapter” (slide switch to “OFF”) when it is not in use to save electricity.
• The “Apotop Copy Adapter” features a web management user interface for configuration purposes. To
access the UI, the “Apotop Copy Adapter” must be in operation and your iPad or another device must
be connected to the “Apotop Copy Adapter’s” WLAN. Tap “Device Setting”. The “Apotop Copy Adapter’s”
set-up menu appears. Type the following IP address into your browser’s address bar: http://10.10.1.1.
From here you can activate an encryption and configure the WLAN router as a WiFi repeater.
• If your PC/notebook is connected to the “Apotop Copy Adapter’s” wireless network, type the following IP
address into your browser’s address bar: http://10.10.1.1. You can access any storage media (USB stick/
SD card) connected to the “Apotop Copy Adapter”.
Please read the separately included, extensive (English-language) manufacturer’s manual.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Before cleaning, always turn off the product and disconnect the USB cable and all connected storage
devices.
• Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaning agents as they may cause discoloration.
• Use a dry, soft and clean cloth for cleaning. To prevent scratch marks, do not apply too much force on the
surface during cleaning.
• You can use a clean, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner to easily remove any dust.

Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
The built-in rechargeable battery must be disposed of by a specialist.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable
batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal
in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd =
Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash
icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores
or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
