1. Introduction
The panel meter
is a 3
digit built-in panel meter for
simple measuring tasks. Despite its small dimensions it is very
robust and exact. It is designed as built-it panel meter for units,
distribution panels etc. (e.g. power supplies). It can also be used
as independent voltmeter (in a cabinet! observe the safety rules)
with respective pre-wiring (resistor network) to max. 200 VDC. It
is only designed for household usage.
By respective pre-wiring it can be used either as voltmeter to
max. 200 VDC or ampere meter to max. 2 A. Polarity and offset
are displayed automatically. With the built-in special function
(external wiring for turning on/off is necessary) it is pos-
sible to hold a quick changing measuring value.
2. Safety Rules

The panel meter is EMC-tested and corresponds to the follo-
wing EG-standard:

This unit left the factory in safe and perfect condition. To
maintain the unit in this condition and to guarantee a safe
operation, the user must observe the safety rules and warnings
which are contained in this manual, by all means.

It is not allowed to use the measuring unit for installations in
the overload range III according to IEC 664. The measuring
component is not protected against arcing (IEC 1010-2-031,
section 13.101).
