4. Charging the C54WIFIU
The C54WIFIU is equipped with a built-in 3,7V, 190mA Li-ion Polymer Battery.
To charge the battery, turn on your computer, remove the USB Protection cap
from the C54WIFIU, slide the power switch to the “
ON
” position and carefully
insert the device into any available USB port on your computer.
You will see the recharging screen:
The battery strength indicator will be animated while the C54WIFIU is being
recharged.
When the C54WIFIU is finished recharging it will automatically stop charging
the battery and shows “
Charge Finish
” on the display. The battery strength
indicator will stop blinking:
Note:
- If the device is inserted to an USB port without turning it on, it only
operates as a Wireless USB Adapter and does not charge the battery.
- If the device is inserted into an USB port and turned on, it charges
the battery and operates as a Wireless USB Adapter.
Note:
Some computers also provide power on the USB port when turned off.
In these situations it is not necessary to turn on your computer during
charging.
