3.2 Lock Mode
The C54WIFIU can scan for the strongest signal of a specific network. To
enable this option, press and hold the “
Seek
” button for 4 seconds to enter
“
Lock Mode
”. When the detector is in “
Lock Mode
” an icon with a capitalized
“
L
” appears in the upper middle corner of the display:
When the device is in “
Lock Mode
”, it constantly refreshes the signal strength
of the current WiFi Signal. This allows you to find the strongest signal of the
WiFi spot, so you can localize the WiFi spot or find a place where you have a
better wireless connection.
To exit “
Lock Mode
”, turn the device off. When you turn on the device, it
operates in normal mode again.
