CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
You can clean the accessories and the appliance with a wet cloth. Never immerse
the appliance in water! Do not use any aggressive substances for cleaning, such as
solvents or abrasives!
DUST RETENTION BAG REPLACEMENT
1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains, pull the hose out of the suction inlet, and
open the appliance‘s cover (Fig. 4).
2. Remove the full dust retention bag and dispose of it. Make sure it does not get
ripped open when handled.
3. Insert a new bag by sliding the pasteboard lamella into the bag holder, and insert
the holder into the appliance. The bag opening must be aligned with the hose hole
in the appliance cover.
4. Only use the appliance when the dust retention bag is present!
5. Close the cover by pushing it until it clicks in the right position.
FILTER REPLACEMENT
• Filters should be cleaned or replaced when they are visibly dirty, or the appliance‘s
suction power is reduced. Check the fi lters after every use of the appliance.
• In order not to damage the appliance, do not use it with incorrectly fi xed fi lters.
• Before replacing the fi lters, disconnect the appliance from the electric voltage outlet.
• You can buy suitable types of fi lters from your dealer, or you can order them with the
manufacturer.
MOTOR FILTER CLEANING AND REPLACEMENT
1. Disconnect the fl exible hose and open the appliance‘s cover.
2. Pull the dust retention bag out of its holder so that you can access the motor fi lter
more easily.
3. Remove the motor fi lter (Fig. 5). You can clean the fi lter by tapping and shaking. If
full of dirt, you can wash the fi lter in lukewarm water and let it dry properly.
Note:
Do not use a washing machine for washing the fi lter. Do not use a hair dryer
for drying the fi lter!
4. Insert the cleaned or new motor fi lter into the appliance and close its cover.
DUST RETENTION BAG FILL CHECK
When the dust retention bag fi ll indicator (Fig. 3) becomes red during operation,
replace the full dust retention bag immediately.
Note:
If the dust retention bag fi ll indicator is still red after the the bag replacement, it
may be due to several causes:
- Some of the air passages (hoses, telescopic tube, suction inlet, brush adapter, or
other adapters) are obstructed;
- The motor fi lter is dirty;
- The air outlet fi lter is dirty.
Check for each of the above possible causes and eliminate the problem before you
resume vacuuming. If the cause of the problem cannot be identifi ed, hand over the
appliance to the nearest service center. Never use the appliance if the dust retention
bag fi ll indicator is completely red. The motor could be damaged irreparably.
