5.10 Advanced Firewall 

This page allows the user to view and configure rules. Please make sure to enable 
Firewall and Packet filter feature.   

 
Note: New rules configured will not be applicable to existing running sessions. 

 
Warning: Use this feature judiciously. Incorrect configuration may render device 

inaccessible.

Packet Filter 

 

 
By enabling Packet filter, traffic can be passed or blocked at a network interface 

based on source and destination addresses, ports, or protocols. 
 

By default packet filter is disabled. To filter the traffic, firewall and packet filter must 
be enabled and a rule should be added based on source and destination address, 

ports or protocols.
