Ku-Band
A frequency band used for satellite communications. For terrestrial earth
stations the receive frequency band is in the range 10.95 – 12.75GHz and trans-
mit 14.0 – 14.5GHz. See also C-band.

L-Band
A frequency band commonly used as an IF for satellite systems using block up/
down conversion. Usually 950-1450MHz.
