VERY IMPORTANT
Please read this operating instruction carefully, before
you operate the lock or try to set up and enter a new
code by adding your own combination of numbers. We
can not accept any liability for problems caused by the
incorrect set up of user codes This includes any im-
proper use and damage caused to the safe and lock and
for any loss of property or extra costs incurred to open a
locked safe which could be attributed to the incorrect
setting up of the user code.
General information:
The Electronic Lock is programmed at the factory with
the following Master code 1-2-3-4-5-6 .
For security reasons, we strongly advise you to change
the master code as soon as you have read this manual.
You have the option to activate in addition to the Master
Code your own user code.
Each Key Press will be confirmed with an audio and
green light signal. The distance between the two key
presses may not exceed seven (7) seconds.
A correct code will be confirmed with a double signal and
green light. A invalid entry is followed by a long signal
and by a red LED
After five (5) seconds, the electronic lock will be locked
again automatically
Power supply:
Power is supplied by one (1) 9V E-block battery of the
type 6LP3146. The use of non-alkaline batteries is not
recommended, we recommend high quality batteries (eg.
Varta High Energy).
Low Battery Power indication:
In case of low battery power after pressing the ON but-
ton you will hear a audible a signal (5 beeps) which will
be followed by a red LED light. This indicates that the
batteries are low and have to be changed immediately.
When the batteries are low, please do NOT change the
Code. If the battery is drained completely, the electronic
lock must be powered by a external battery. – See
Chapter Emergency Power Supply / Open by means of
external battery.
TIME-OUT AFTER USING WRONG CODE
For extra security after three (3) incorrect code entries,
the electronic lock will be blocked and you will be unable
to try again to open the safe for five (5) minutes. During
this time the Red LED will indicate that the lock is in a
time-out status and cannot be operated After 5 minutes
have gone by the lock can be opened with a valid code
but If you again enter a incorrect code, it will again start
a lock out period of five ( 5) minutes.
Opening the Safe:
- Press the ON button
- This will be confirmed by an audio signal and a green
LED light
- Enter a valid Code (on delivery this will be the factory
code 1-2-3-4-5-6)
- Press the ENTER button
- A correct code will be confirmed with a double signal
and green light.
- Turn the handle (to the left from the Electronic) within
five (5) seconds to the right to be able to open the
safe
Closing the Safe:
- To close the safe, turn the handle to the left
- After five (5) seconds, the electronic lock will be
locked automatically
- Check if the safe is closed correctly.
How to Program a new master code /
Set a new master code:
Please take care
We recommend you to perform the programming of a
new code and check it a number of times with the safe
door open please always check your new private code
is working with the door open and BEFORE you close
the safe if you make a error and lock the safe without
checking the code works ok you maybe be unable to
open the safe.
- Press the Button: “ON”
- Press the Button: “ENTER”
- Press the Button.”1”’
- Press the Button: “ENTER”
- Enter the valid master code (factory code
1-2-3-4-5-6 ).
- Press the Button: „ENTER“.
