REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT
Removing the Expansion Cards (Modem or Network Interface Card)
Removal
1 Perform the preparation procedures .
2 Turn the computer on its side (open
side facing up) and locate the
expansion card(s).
3 Remove the screw securing the
expansion card.
4 Pull the expansion card using a gentle
rocking motion from the connector on
the system board.
Replacement
Important: The expansion card rear
connector must be properly inserted
into the rear chassis slot to ensure the
card is properly seated into the
connector on the system board.
1 Align the card with connector on the
system board and rear connector slots
on the chassis
