SNTP

The SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol) settings allow you to synchronize switch clocks with the 
Internet. 

 

SNTP Configuration interface

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

Label

Description

SNTP Client

Enable or disable SNTP function to get the time from the SNTP server.

UTC Time zone

Set the switch location time zone. 

SNTP Server IP 
Address

Set the SNTP server IP address.

Daylight Saving 
Time

Enable or disable daylight saving time function. When daylight saving 
time is enabled, you need to configure the daylight saving time 
period.

Daylight Saving 
Period

Set up the Daylight Saving beginning time and Daylight Saving ending 
time. Both will be different each year.

Daylight Saving 
Offset

Set up the offset time.

Apply

Select 

Apply

 to set the configurations.
