down on the handle.

For safety, steps retract and latch automatically.  Use the foot
pedal provided to hold steps down as you guide the child up
to the changing surface.  When you remove your foot from
the pedal, the steps will retract.  When the child is ready to
come down, lower the steps, place your foot on the pedal,
and assist the child.

  CAUTION

c

Make sure children are standing clear when the steps are
being lowered and raised.  A child on the floor could get
pinched in the step mechanism.

c

The wheels on the unit must be disengaged before the
steps are used. (See hide-away wheels feature) Using
the steps when the wheels are down could damage the
steps.

c

Load on the steps should not exceed 45 kilograms.

 WARNING

c

Children must be assisted up the steps and onto the
changing table.

c

Steps must always retract.  In no way should the care-
giver cause the steps to remain down unassisted.  If steps
do not automatically retract, discontinue use and contact
Customer Service.
