Attenuators
Attenuators decrease the optical power in a fiber by a specific or adjustable amount. Once the
desired level of attenuation is determined, fixed attenuators may be inserted in the fiber optic
line to deliver a precise output. Optional attenuators are installed on tab side of the sliding
adapter packs. See
