Disconnecting the wire way cover from the housing
□
Squeeze the two sides of the wire way cover on the inside of the housing (A) while also pushing inward on
the tabs on the back side of the housing (A) to detach the wire way cover from the housing (A).
□
Repeat for the other two locations where the wire way cover is attached to the housing (A) to free the wire
way cover from the housing (A).
□
Remove the wire way cover from the housing (A) to reveal the wiring.
□
Unplug the terminal ground wire connection between the wire way cover and the housing (A).
□
Set the wire way cover aside in a safe place until ready to reattach it to the housing (A).

Marking the mounting location
□
With help from another person, temporarily hold the fixture housing (A) up to the ceiling to determine the best
mounting position and which knock out hole to use for wiring the fixture.
□
Mark two keyhole locations 40in. apart on the mounting surface.
