5. Connect shoulder harness straps to metal harness plate.
- Pull metal harness plate out and make sure belt is
not twisted.
- Pull right shoulder harness strap out and slide entire
sewn loop into slot on right side of metal harness plate
(
fig. n)
and

fig. p)
.
NOTE:
Make sure that the sewn loop is completely
within the slot of the metal harness plate
(
fig. p)
and
that the shoulder harness strap is not twisted.
- Repeat for left shoulder harness strap.
NOTE:
Full width of sewn loop on shoulder harness
straps MUST be within slot on metal harness plate
(
fig. p).
Sewn loop MUST be over lower inside tab of metal
plate
(
fig. r)

b. Pull harness adjuster strap located at front of seat to
tighten the harness. Verify proper operation, tightening,
and that belts are not twisted.
c. Replace harness shield on back of car seat
(
fig. s)
.
- Slide tabs at corners of harness
shield into slots in back of car seat.
Harness shield must be properly
secured at all (4) corners and
shoulder harness straps stored
inside shield so seat can rotate
smoothly from forward-facing to
rear-facing.

Reassembly of shoulder harness covers:
a. Open shoulder harness cover and place over shoulder
harness strap above chest clip
(fig. t)

b. Fold ends of harness covers over and snap
together
