The SINTHESIS regulator are two stages regulators’ the piston first stage
and the balanced second stage with Venturi adjustment (Dive mode).
First stage
The first stage with a standard piston will lower the high pressure air from
your tank to relative of 9,6 bars / 145 psi. The second stage is connected
with a low pressure hose using one of the four port holes on the first
stage (Standard UNF 3/8” fitting).
Second stage
The second stage is a pneumatically balanced second stage, witch offers
optimum ease of breathing. An additional adjustment allow the diver
to fine tune the Venturi effect to the dive / diver conditions. The second
stage comes from factory with adjustment Venturi lever in the minus
position.
Venturi lever
This lever, located on the side of the second stage Housing, enables the
diver to control the inhalation Venturi effect When on the (+) position, the
diver get maximum Venturi assistance upon initial inhalation, the air flow
is maintained without additional effort.
