4. Getting Ready for Printing
Switch ON Procedure
Follow these steps to switch ON the printer:
Step 1:
Switch ON the MCB from back side of the machine.
Step 2:
Check whether an
Emergency
button is pressed or not. If the
Emergency
button is pressed, then
immediately release it.
Step 3:
Switch ON the
Power
button of the machine. Automatic initialization of machine gets started, as
shown below:

Step 4:
Firstly, Z axis gets initialized and capping goes down.
Step 5:
After the initialization of capping, X axis gets initialized.
Step 6:
Capping start verifying the maximum up limit and stay on defined position.
Step 7:
Wiper unit gets activated and starts the initialization process.
Step 8:
Refill water tank with the clean water.
Step 9:
Check the ink level in the Main tanks.
Step 10:
Check the Waste Ink Bottle and empty it, if full.
Step 11:
Load the fabric and engage the Press Roller (Refer to the Loading Fabric section).
Step 12:
Take care about fabric handling from supply and take up sides.
Step 13:
Switch ON the Feeder and Dryer units.
Step 14
: Check Print Head Nozzles status by issuing the Nozzle Test command. If nozzle test result is not
OK or nozzles are blocked, clean the Print Head by performing the steps given in the Head Cleaning
section.
